This Licensing Policy explains what you may and may not do with the digital templates (“Templates”) available for free or for purchase on nelsay.com (“we,” “us,” “our”). By downloading, unlocking, or purchasing a Template, you agree to the terms below.
1. What You’re Buying
All Templates are sold as digital design files delivered via a Canva template link. You are purchasing a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Template — you are not purchasing the underlying design, artwork, or any copyright in it. We retain full ownership and copyright of every Template, whether free or paid.
2. Permitted Use
With a valid license (i.e., you downloaded the free version or purchased the paid version), you may:
- Edit and customize the Template in Canva for your own personal or business use
- Use the customized design for a client’s business, provided the client is not reselling the design itself
- Export and print the finished design (flyers, brochures, social posts, etc.) for your own marketing or a client’s marketing
- Use the Template across multiple projects for the same business or client relationship
3. Prohibited Use
You may not:
- Resell, redistribute, share, or sublicense the Template itself — as a Canva link, PDF, image file, or in any other format — whether for free or for payment
- Upload the Template (edited or unedited) to any other template marketplace, stock site, or template shop
- Claim authorship or ownership of the original Template design
- Use the Template to create a substantially similar template for resale
- Share your purchase or your Canva “use template” link with others who have not purchased or unlocked it themselves
Each purchase or free unlock is for one user. If you’re a team or agency wanting to use a Template across multiple seats, contact us at hello@nelsay.com for an extended license.
4. Free Templates
Free Templates are provided in exchange for an email opt-in and follow the same permitted/prohibited use rules above as paid Templates, unless stated otherwise on the individual product page.
5. Fonts, Photos & Canva Elements
Some Templates use Canva Pro fonts, photos, or elements. If you don’t have a Canva Pro subscription, you may need to swap these out for free alternatives before exporting. We are not responsible for Canva’s own licensing terms on third-party stock assets used within a Template — those are governed by Canva’s own content license.
6. Refunds
Because Templates are digital products delivered instantly, all sales are final once the template link has been delivered or accessed. If a Template is broken, mislabeled, or significantly different from its preview, contact hello@nelsay.com within 7 days of purchase and we’ll make it right.
7. Changes to Templates
We may update, improve, or discontinue Templates at any time. If a Template you’ve purchased is discontinued, your existing access and license are unaffected.
8. Enforcement
Unauthorized resale or redistribution of a Template is a violation of this license and applicable copyright law, and may result in revoked access to future purchases and legal action where appropriate.
